The application process will continue until May 26. The courses are free, and the expenses are covered by the state budget. They are intended for adults who want to improve their knowledge of the Romanian language or start learning it from scratch.
Applications can be submitted online by filling out the corresponding form on the Ministry of Education’s website. Those who are unable to register for the courses online can seek assistance in completing the application at a local educational institution.
The Ministry of Education and Research expects that around 2500 teachers and administrators from general educational institutions, as well as about four thousand adults from various professional fields including justice, medicine, art, central and local public administration, including refugees from Ukraine, will participate in this program.
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate reflecting their level of linguistic competence in the Romanian language according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
The National Program for Studying the Romanian Language has been approved by the government and will be implemented during the period from 2023 to 2025.
