Prime Minister Dorin Recean has rejected the participation in the inauguration ceremony of the new Bashkan of Gagauzia, Eugenia Gutsul. Confirmation of this information was received from government spokesman Daniel Voda and passed to the Realitatea portal.
The event will take place in Comrat. At the moment, the administration of President Maia Sandu has not yet responded to journalists’ requests regarding her participation in the event.
At the same time, the press service of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) said that none of the MPs from this ruling party will attend the ceremony.
The elected Bashkan of Gagauzia will take the oath of office during a solemn session of the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for July 19 at 18:30.
