PAS deputy Radu Marian, emphasized that the most effective way to demonstrate the unity of the whole society, not only the government, is to hold a referendum scheduled for October 20.
“This referendum does not concern only PAS or Maia Sandu; it is an opportunity to enshrine this goal in the Constitution, because no matter who will be the government, it should be enshrined there,” the deputy emphasized, as reported by tvrmoldova.md.
He also noted that it will be much more difficult for any political force in power to ignore the will of the Moldovan people to join the European Union:
“If you ignore the will of the people, you will be punished. This referendum is a great opportunity to demonstrate unity and work towards this common goal. I urge everyone to take part in this referendum process,” the MP assured.
