“We, as the Republic of Moldova, stand at the crossroads of geopolitical shifts,” Vladislav Culminschi, a political expert, said during the “No Ties” talk show. He describes the current period as a geopolitical earthquake in which a new order in the region is taking place. Kulminsky foresees that the war in Ukraine will intensify in the coming years, believing that Ukraine will not agree to a peace “under duress,” which could lead to the loss of territory. According to him, Russia will not stop its actions.
An important point in his statements was his forecast regarding the Transnistrian conflict. He expressed confidence that the conflict will be settled in the next two years, although he did not provide details. Culminschi emphasised that in the near future Moldova will find out in whose sphere of influence it will be, but added that a lot will depend on the choice of Moldovan citizens.
