Moldovan President Maia Sandu is on a working visit to Greece and has met with leaders of various countries in Southeastern Europe and the Western Balkans. In Athens, she held meetings with the prime ministers of Bulgaria, Croatia and Macedonia, rupor.md reported.
Maia Sandu shared that this was an important opportunity for her to discuss issues related to Moldova’s accession to the European Union, the consolidation of relations and regional cooperation.
Also present at the meeting were Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President Charles Michel, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu. The meeting discussed issues related to the development of infrastructure and expansion of logistical opportunities to support exports from Ukraine.
