Scientist Maxim Bilovitskiy has announced a new discovery in chemistry that allows for the creation of a substance whose value exceeds that of the entire planet Earth. The new substance is called nihonium and is the 113th element in the periodic table of chemical elements. Nihonium is not found on Earth and can only be obtained from calcium-48 using a particle accelerator.
To create nihonium, it is necessary to accelerate ions of calcium-48 carbonate, which costs 250,000 euros per gram, to 10% of the speed of light, approximately 30 kilometers per second. After the collision of these ions with a foil, a new element called moscovium is formed, which is the 115th element in the periodic table.
Maxim Bilovitskiy stated that there is a probability of 0.0000000000000000000000000001% (ten to the power of minus 28) that moscovium will transform into nihonium through alpha decay. Nihonium is an extremely radioactive substance that decays within microseconds.
According to the scientist, the price of one gram of nihonium is estimated at 157 sextillion dollars, surpassing the value of the entire Earth and its natural resources. However, such a substance cannot be sold because no one can offer such a huge sum of money.
