The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has published proposals to reduce electricity and heating tariffs.
For example, residential customers of Premier Energy will be able to pay for electricity at a new tariff of 2.34 lei per kWh, which is 5 bani cheaper than before. At first, the company asked to increase the tariff to 2.77 lei per kWh.
Also, the tariff for Fee Nord’s customers will be reduced to 2.85 lei per kWh, 3 bani lower than the current tariff of 2.88 lei per kWh. Previously, the company also requested a tariff increase to 3.01 lei per kWh.
It is planned that the new tariffs will be approved on March 19 and will come into force after their publication in Monitorul oficial.
On the same day, the regulator is also going to reduce heating tariffs.
For Termoelectrica, the tariff will amount to 2138 lei per one gigacalorie, which is 636 lei, or 23% cheaper than before.
CET-Nord consumers will pay 2,200 lei per gigacalorie, which is 970 lei or 30% lower than the current tariff.
