The Ministry of Education has developed a new national school program with only four basic subjects and will implement it in schools from September 2025. This solution is designed to unlock students’ abilities and provide them with digital textbooks. The project was developed by university professors in consultation with 18 specialists. The main subjects will be Romanian language, mathematics, the first foreign language, and general history, while the rest will be optional or elective. The new program aims to prepare for the professions of the future and takes into account the interests and abilities of the students.
