According to information provided by the consular section of the Tajik embassy in Kiev, the body of the gunman who killed two people at Chisinau International Airport is likely to be sent home. Relatives of the deceased Rustam Ashurov plan to take away his body.
Specific details of repatriation depend on the family’s capabilities. It is not yet known when exactly Ashurov’s body will be delivered to Tajikistan.
Recall that on June 30, a 43-year-old Tajik citizen who was not allowed to enter Moldova opened fire at Chisinau airport, killing two people: a border police officer and an airport security inspector. Ashurov died Monday night.
