The director of the GenderdocM center, Angelica Frolova, believes that there could be LGBT representatives in the Moldovan government who do not hide their sexual orientation. She emphasized that such a person could bring about changes regarding equality in society.
Frolova added that many international organizations are interested in whether there are LGBT representatives in the Moldovan government, and stressed that hiding the sexual orientation of LGBT representatives hinders progress. If an open and worthy LGBT representative ever reaches the position of minister, that would be a different matter.
Frolova also set a condition for future ministers — they must undergo at least three years of psychotherapy to avoid developing negative traits such as arrogance or vanity.
