The majority of workers in Moldova would like to find a different job than the one they have, according to a survey conducted by the company “undelucram.md,” which surveyed more than 12,000 workers from 5 European countries. In Moldova, the highest percentage of workers (43%) would like to change jobs, and many would be willing to work a second job (22%) if it helped improve their financial situation. In other surveyed countries, such as Hungary and Romania, the percentage of such workers is much lower.
Many workers in Moldova have not received information about possible salary increases, and most do not expect such an increase in the near future. However, workers in Romania and Hungary expect their salary to increase in 2023.
In Moldova, workers can receive a bonus based on their results, which is an important criterion for 34% of respondents.
The majority of workers in Central and Eastern Europe believe they need to receive a salary 20-30% higher to keep up with inflation.
The survey was conducted from December 2022 to March 2023 and included more than 12,000 respondents from 5 countries.
