The Senate of the State University of Moldova approved the strategy that will transform the Botanical Garden into an ecotourism center. The project includes the reconstruction of the garden’s main features, making it an important attraction. The Rector of the State University of Moldova, Igor Șarov, emphasized that this is an important step towards sustainable development and the creation of green spaces for future generations. The project is supported by the National Fund for Regional Development, which will allocate up to 22 million lei.
