Last night at about 01:33, a traffic accident occurred in Comrat. As a result of the accident, 6 people were taken to hospital, but one of them, a 12-year-old child, later died.
According to preliminary data, the 24-year-old driver of the BMW failed to cope with the control and drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Renault driven by a 29-year-old man.
As a result of the accident, both drivers and three passengers of the Renault – a 35-year-old woman and her children (two minors aged 12 and 16), as well as a 30-year-old passenger of the BMW – were taken to the hospital in Comrat with various injuries.
This morning it became known that the 12-year-old girl died. It is important to note that one of the passengers of the Renault is an employee of the Comrat Police Inspectorate.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been opened to clarify the circumstances of this tragic accident. The authorities are conducting an investigation to establish all the circumstances and causes of the accident.
