Vasile Tarlev, former prime minister, may become the presidential candidate of the Future of Moldova (Viitorul Moldovei) party in the upcoming fall elections. He said this in a TV program, adding that the final decision will be made by the party congress, agora.md reports.
Tarlev said that his possible participation in the presidential elections was discussed at the party’s National Council. However, the final decision will be made at the party congress.
“This idea is acceptable to me. We are working on it,” Tarlev noted.
