The head of Chisinau, Ion Ceban, commented on the incident that occurred at Chisinau airport on June 30. He expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and announced financial assistance to be provided from the municipality’s reserve fund.
In his message, Ceban wrote, “My deepest condolences to the families. Our employees will receive medals, but the real heroes unfortunately died. As a result of discussions with our colleagues, we have decided to allocate financial aid of 100 thousand lei for each family from the reserve fund of Chisinau municipality.”
