Young entrepreneurs from Moldova have the opportunity to improve their skills and experience by collaborating with experienced business people from the European Union. This opportunity is provided through the Erasmus programme for young entrepreneurs, which is now available in Moldova after the country’s participation in the European Union’s Single Market programme.
Veronica Bulba, consultant at the Economic Development and Digitalisation Ministry, said that the participants in the programme will benefit from many advantages. The experience exchange will last up to six months and includes confidence building, skills acquisition, learning new technologies and management skills, as well as the opportunity to create business connections and improve language skills.
“The basic requirement is to be at least 18 years old. However, statistics show that the average age of start-ups is 28, while experienced entrepreneurs are around 40,” explained Bulba.
The programme covers about 45 countries and the key areas of exchange are advertising, education, architecture, information technology and tourism.
