Labour and Social Protection Minister Alexei Buzu stressed that in January, verification tests will be conducted for some vulnerable categories to make sure that the data provided in the system are correct. Those who provide inaccurate information when requesting compensation will be obliged to return the money, including possible judicial measures.
“We have expanded the amount of data collected to better assess the situation of each household and ensure greater transparency. This year we have put more emphasis on explanations. We receive an average of 3 to 4 thousand calls per day,” the minister said, as reported by rupor.md.
According to Alexei Buzu, about 770 thousand households have registered on the government platform to receive compensation during the cold season. Most of them fell into the most vulnerable category, but the data are still to be clarified.
