The President of the National Assembly of France supports Moldova and expresses her readiness to help it on its way to the European Union
Yaelle Braune-Pivet, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of France, expressed strong support for Moldova during her address to the Parliament. She stressed that Moldova is part of the European family and has its place in Europe. Brown-Pivet assured Moldova of her support on its path to the European Union.
She also praised Moldova’s efforts on European integration and support for the reforms that the country is implementing. Brown-Peave noted the positive assessment of Moldova’s progress by the European Commission. She also congratulated Moldova on the successful organization of the summit of the European political community, highlighting that the Moldovan people and their representatives are capable of building a great European democracy.
Brown-Peave also thanked Moldova for the hospitality and generosity with which it has received Ukrainian refugees. She supported Moldova in the context of the war in Ukraine and expressed admiration and support for its resilience and defense of democracy and law in the face of pressure and threats.
The president of the Moldovan parliament, Igor Grosu, thanked France for its solidarity and important commitment in supporting Moldova.
