The secretary-general of the Romanian government, Mircea Abrudian, reiterated Moldova’s support for the country and its aspirations for European integration during a meeting with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. Igor Grosu reported the details of this meeting on his Facebook page, where he said that they discussed economic development and justice reform in Moldova.
The most important is the PAS government’s plan, which is focused on sustainable economic development and reforms aimed at fulfilling the country’s strategic goal of joining the European Union by 2030.
Romania, together with Germany and France, is the initiator of the Moldova Support Platform. This initiative has played an important role in managing the crises and problems arising from the events related to Russia and Ukraine.
Igor Grosu also emphasised the consolidation of energy security in cooperation with other countries and the improvement of investment attractiveness. The main effort is aimed at consolidating the state institutions, in order to ensure prosperity and security in Moldova, which aspires to Europe. For his part, a representative from Bucharest reiterated Romania’s support for Moldova’s European integration.
