Ion Cicu, chairman of the “Party of Development and Unification of Moldova” and former Prime Minister, expressed the opinion that the changes in the Prima Casa program made it almost useless. In an interview on Rlive TV, he said that the innovations did not make the program more accessible, but on the contrary, they worsened its work.
Kiku explained that the new rules added a clause requiring homeowners to live in the house permanently and not to give it to others for use. In his opinion, this limits the rights of owners and reduces the attractiveness of the program.
