This month, Moldova is preparing a whole range of interesting events – from education and culture to politics. Among them are free Romanian language courses for adults, the appointment of a new adviser, Maia Sandu, the visit of the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to Comrat and Chisinau, as well as the final of the national selection for Eurovision 2024. Moldova Libera has prepared an overview of these and other events of February.
The Ministry of Education has launched a new phase of the national program for learning the Romanian language for adults. Courses are available to citizens of Moldova, regardless of level of knowledge, free of charge, at the expense of the state budget.
Registration for courses takes place from February 1 to February 29, 2024 online. You need to indicate your details, level of Romanian language proficiency and preferred learning mode (online or offline). If the form in Romanian is difficult, you can register by phone from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00.
Classes will be held both in person and online 2/3 times a week from March to December 2024. At the end of the course there will be a test, after which you will receive a certificate of proficiency in Romanian.
