In the upcoming heating season, beneficiaries will be compensated for heat in cash. This information was confirmed by Labor and Social Protection Minister Alexei Buzu during the Rezoomat program on RliveTV, according to realitatea.md.
Buzu emphasized that the government trusts Moldovan citizens and believes in their faithful repayment of energy bills. Basically, people realize that non-payment can lead to the loss of benefits. The optimal solution was to pay compensation in cash, as it is administratively easier. If the beneficiaries have a bank card, the funds will be transferred to it. Otherwise, it will be possible to receive the money at the post office.
The minister said that thousands of households have registered on the government platform, intending to receive compensation for the cold season. Most of them belong to the most vulnerable categories of the population.
