
On Friday, the Moldovan government decided to create the National Institute of Education and Leadership. The institute will modernise teacher and administrative training processes in education in order to improve the quality of education in the country.
The institute will employ 17 staff members who will create a network of approximately 1,000 paid mentors made up of the best teachers in 2024. These mentors will assist young professionals and interns in their professional development, fostering innovation in the education community.
The Leadership Institute will also engage in teacher training research, the development of teaching materials and guides, and the initiation of projects and collaborations in education. This initiative aims to improve Moldova’s education system.
