
Today, July 17, at 14:30, Moldova’s new ministers will take the oath of office in the presence of President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean, according to the official website of the Presidency. So far, there has been no official announcement of the names of the new ministers.
Media representatives are invited to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Access will be granted on the basis of journalists’ credentials and credentials.
Earlier, Dorin Recean announced the resignation of Education and Research Minister Anatolii Topale, Interior Minister Anna Revenko and Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister Lilia Dabija.
According to information, Viorel Cherneutseanu, the current head of the Inspectorate General of Police, may be appointed to replace Anna Revenco as Interior Minister.
Dan Perciun, an MP from the Action and Solidarity party and chairman of the Commission for Social Protection, Health and Family, may take the post of Minister of Education and Research to replace Anatol Topale.
Andrei Spinu, former Secretary General of the President’s Office, may return to the post of Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, which he held from August 2021 to February 2023.
